Fear not readers I've been busy working on images over the last few days for my show among other bits & bobs. Yesterday I popped over to sheffield to have an excellent brew with Lee Ford and check some Edward Bawden artworks at the millennium galleries at Sheffield. Well worth the trip to see them and for the brew and cake I had. I did buy me a Kid Acne zine along the way which is pretty cool.

Exit With A Brew

I've finally reached a stage where I can say I've digested the Banksy film " Exit Via The Gift Shop", pleased to say I enjoyed that film. I thought it was smart, cool and one of the better things I've seen in a long, long time. I'd happily sit through it again I reckon.

The works will be on show at the Edinburgh Traverse Theatre from sunday the 27th of March to sunday the 8th May 2011. I hope they raise loads for this fab charity to help young people.

The Scotsman

The other day I received a cutting from The Scotsman, from last year; I couldn't believe little old me got mentioned in the paper alongside artist David Shrigley with works by Jon Burgerman pictured in the article. I contributed a small artwork along with contributions from a collection of fantastic artists to a fabulous charity The Rock Trust based in Edinburgh; which works with the young and homeless they believe every young person has potential and they do fact! click to enlarge the article.

The Crowd

Suffice to say this afternoon I've been pulling my hair out trying to resolve what I consider to be one of my most funniest images that I've done in a long while. I think I'm 3 characters away from resolving the problem. I've been working on this image off and on for three weeks. I've also got the problem of resolving the details of the background. It's brew time for sure.
