No wonder this lad is still single eh!! Towards the end of my ride the heavens opened it chucked it down with rain.

Patrick Procktor

A book I'm looking to forward to getting my paws on and reading is "Patrick Proctor: Art and Life by Ian Massey published by Unicorn Press. Patrick Procktor is a painter, printmaker who emerged through the sixties but wasn't documented as much as others at the time. The book documents his circle that included Celia Birtwell, Gilbert and George, David Hockney, Lord Snowdon among others. I know for a fact this book is based on original interviews which Ian has conducted and is lavishly illustrated documnenting his works. Well Ian I look forward to reading this one with a few cups of tea.

Blown Up

Did you watch "Out of the frying Pan" on BBC 2 is it just me that thinks that little Ben out of Eastenders when he grows up he will grow up to look like Alasdair Hooper from that show he was the one playing the role of butler.

Sunday, 18 April 2010

I'm still chuckling about the overheard stories from earlier from one cyclist the last few weeks he has been on top form. They should put him on a stage even in his ACDC lycra outfits.

Powered By Toast

Readers my cycling advice is do not attempt bike rides of 25 miles or more when you have only had two bits of toast to eat. Because I suffered and cut my ride short, but it was enjoyable to be out looking for clouds from Iceland. Of course the brew at the end of it was good aswell.

Everyone Say Hi

Is it me, or is there a nip in the air I'm wearing layers here at my end t shirt, sweatshirt and a tracky top, with a brew to hand. There's been a Bowie track playing in the background and election dialogue. I'm still gutted my dad hasn't had a traditional white pot put on his broken foot I so wanted to go drawing on that with marker pens.
