Chin

Today I mostly stayed indoors, grafting and drinking tea, "Nowt New" you say; I've stayed indoors cos I really do have a massive spot on my chin. I did at midday think about putting a pair of eyes and a smile on it whilst doodling earlier but restrained myself from this act.

Order

Its a sunday morning I've read the papers; articles that struck me were about a marriage that has dissolved because one of the parents have led a crazy pursuit to be the perfect parent. An article about insomnia struck me too, a vast industry exists to cure this malaise. But is it our modern lives keeping us awake. mobile phone radiation according to study can interfere with sleep. Ive also read the more untidy and messy you are the more creative you are.

Rotherham

Visited Rotherham today to check some prints out and the 70 years of penguin books exhibition at the library and museum the sun even shined. Even Jamie Oliver is starting a new restaurant project in the town of Rotherham; plenty of operatives in hi-vis jackets working on that project. Even found a fantastic place to have a brew; which I'm told has been frequented by Mr Oliver himself, the circles I move in eh?

Kettle Crisis

Got up this morning early, it was  a very dramatic start to the day complete in carpet slippers and underpants I set off alone on foot to the kitchen to make a brew with a skip in my step. To find out my kettle is broken it wouldn't boil the water, so I couldn't make my beverage. Readers this wasn't a 999 reconstruction, narrated by a tv newsreader this actually went down in my house in the metropolis. I need to talk this drama; this crisis through with a Tv therapist on a comfy sofa listening to ambient music. Readers if this happens to you I'm here to listen.

Boo?

I love it when you hear  a familiar voice that you've not heard for a couple of days on the telefunken it cheers me up, moments when it catches you off guard and makes you really smile. reet I need a brew and a biscuit which I cannot endorse the brand. remember call a mate today and say Peek a Boo?

Hundred?

Blimey this is blog entry one hundred; easy readers you were expecting a joke from me about making one hundred entries elsewhere in my life. I'll have you know this blog is smut free and Im a Gent, besides topics like that only get discussed in the "Tree of Trust" on a bank holiday. Its a milestone never the less; liking turning 30, getting on the housing market, passing your driving test, constructing at least one piece of knock down fitting furniture in your lifetime and being able to make at least one more signature dish than just scrambled egg with toast garnished with butter??. One hunderd eh?; I cannot give you 100 reasons why there is a current fig roll crisis. But I bet many supermarket managers complete with receding hairlines and name badges can give you the customer at least one reason why theres a fig roll crisis.

Meeting Place

Bought me the Last shadow puppets " the age of the understatement", its a cool album by Alex Turner and Miles Kane. Own up now we will conduct a Geography class together; I'll wear some tweed bad knitwear and trousers topped of with a flat cap.

Sat 19th April Judgement Day

If I had my way this saturday night [neet, nite] I would be parachuting into Las Vegas from several hundred feet, dressed as Elvis just as Tom Jones has been brought out singing his anthem. On landing I would sing "A little less conversation", then take my seat and watch Joe Calzaghe fight mr bernard hopkins. Joe Calzaghe is a real fighting machine something like Robocop readers. With Enzo in the corner and the 4000 fans travelling to Las Vegas we are all behind you Joe for saturday night, all the best.

Hello

I love a big 'hello' from anyone in the street on my travels. I love walking to the shops and getting a big 'hello' from the chap with the enormous head who loves a lamb mint bake from the bakery. I love a 'hello' from a familiar voice on the telefunken when the chips are down. I sometimes feel sorry in a way for those who struggle to respond to my "hello" when meeting folk on my travels. I worry they may need to visit the charm school. I even love the chap who returns home predictably at 1am in the morning from a night out and shrills at the top of his voice "Hi honey I'm Home?", I love that chap.

Fun Times

Here you go something else to look over that I drew in my sketchbook then brought to life while drinking tea and listening to some tunes. like always?

Boss,Pal,mate,matey?

I was thinking what is worst to call blokes who you deal with in your day to day life anything apart from there first names. Is it Boss, Pal, mate, or matey? Ive come to the conclusion its a toss up between Pal and Matey? which are not polite in my book after thinking about it but who am I? thinking about it I've probably been called some names in the past.
